Docs for Xcode App Reviews

Perhaps this app is somehow useful, but there is no instruction how to use it. Ive granted access to the Xcodes DocSet folder as it asked at the first opening, then, whenever I am trying to install/copy Documentation it gives me an error that I should choose something else.

Need instruction for this app, I tried to open/install a file, i got a error msg says "…because an item with the same name already exists." What do i do? and what exactly does this app do?

Ran into the issue as others about Xcode5 not being able to add 3rd party docsets anymore and there are workarounds, but this app made it super easy. I was trying to add the GHUnit docset via atom feed and this app simply required the url to the feed, downloaded it, and done! Shows up in Dash too. I’m not sure what the other reviewers are having problems with as this app is completely straightforward to use. Open it, paste or find a docset or feed and done. Docs show up from that point forward in Xcode (or other like Dash). Thanks!

The one thing that is missing from this app is a quick start guide, however what it does (adding documenation and keeping it up to date), it does well. The simplest way to get a feel for the app is to go to cocoadocs.org and find a doc set youre interested in. Click on the Xcode icon which opens a popup, click the add to Xcode link and voila, the documentation you selected will be downloaded by Docs for Xcode. Then, restart Xcode (I dont know if this is strictly necessary, but I didnt see the new docs until I restarted) and the new documentation will be in your library. You can also just copy the feed URL in the popup window and, after clicking the Add Feed button in Docs for Xcode, paste in the URL into the Add Feed Dialogs text box. To add a documentation file, click the Add File button, locate it on your hard drive or connected/networked drive, and select the Open button. It will be added. I dont know if its actually copied or if an alias is put into the Xcode documentation folder. The delete button works as you would expect, removing the documentation from the Xcode documentation folder and putting it into the trash. Im not quite sure about the update button as I thought it updated automatically, but it may be that only feeds can be updated automatically? All in all, a simple, effective app for an odd deficiency in Xcode.

Unfortunately, this software does not work as delivered. I had to kill the process in order to get out of the program as there is no “Cancel” option, just “Grant access…”, in the modal dialog. Xcode 6 has its docsets installed in "Contents > Developer > Documentation > DocSets”, not /Library/Shared/… as specified in this software. Needs work.

Works great with Xcode 6.
